Meet Arwen Verdnik, an incredibly talented volleyballer who is also doing her PhD in Literary Studies.

In July, Arwen represented Australia at the World University Games in Germany, and has great insight into the importance of keeping active while studying. Monash University's ESPS (Elite Student Performer Support) is a program dedicated to supporting Monash's elite student athletes and performers.

The program supports students to combine academic prowess with sporting or performing arts success through a range of initiatives including but not limited to course advice and assessment flexibility, fitness centre access and financial support.
