Company registration

All vendors providing services to the University are expected to register via one of the links below. Please select the company registration link which is most relative to your company. If you are unsure of which registration link to use, please see the additional information below. Failure to register your company correctly will delay your registration process.

Subcontractors: You do not need to register your company. Only the Head/Principal Company (the company engaged directly by Monash) should register. Please select this company name when starting your induction.

Note: Company registration review may take 3–5 business days (excludes weekends and University holidays). The person who registers will receive an email once approved; the company will not appear on the pre-approved list for inductions until this approval is granted. Please ensure all information and documents are correct to avoid processing delays.

Please register using one link only that accurately describes your company:

Company with one or more employees that undertakes a contract to provide material or labour to perform a service or do a job.
Register link: Company or business with two or more staff
Insurances required: Public Liability, Professional Indemnity & Work Cover
A person or firm who provide expert advice professionally.
Register link: Consultant/Consultancy
Insurances required: Public Liability, Professional Indemnity & Work Cover (optional)
A contractor/sole trader or business owner who does not employee staff is a person trading as the individual legally responsible for all aspects of the business.
NOTE: If you employ workers or contractors deemed to be workers and pay, or expect to pay, more than $7,500 a year in rateable remuneration OR if your company engages apprentices or trainees, you are considered a Company or business with two or more staff for the purposes of this form

You hold a licence or lease with Monash University for a fixed term.
Register link: Monash retail tenant or industry engagement/research partner
Insurances required: Public Liability, Professional Indemnity & Work Cover (optional)
Company or business engaged by the University to supply goods only. You are responsible for delivering the goods onsite only and are not required for any other purpose (i.e. installation of goods etc.) The goods you supply are covered by a statutory warranty under the Australian Consumer Law.
