Monash expectations

At Monash University all contractors, and their employees, involved in construction and maintenance are expected to familiarise themselves with the information provided below, and to adhere to Monash expectations at all times. Failure to do so can place all current and future work for your company at Monash at risk.

Working with Children's Check

All contractors working at Monash Residential Services (MRS) are now required to hold a valid Working with Children Check

Monash University is committed to providing a safe environment for children. Recent amendments to the Working with Children Act 2005 broaden the scope and definition of child-related work and subsequently the types of roles in which the Working with Children Check (WWCC) applies to at Monash.

As a result of these changes to legislation, we wish to advise that all contractors and their employees (including subcontractors) providing services and support to Monash Residential Services (MRS) are now required to hold a valid WWCC card for the term of their engagement with the University.

Please provide your Working with Children Card number, expiry date and a scanned copy of your WWCC card when registering for your induction.

Failure to comply may result in termination of your engagement with Monash University.
