Warning notices/barricades will be in place
Emergency procedures are included in the SWMS (to be attached) and are understood by the employees involved

General Hot Work Precautions (HW)

General Excavation Precautions (EX)

Measures will be taken to protect workers from trench collapse
Confined space precations are required and will be implemented (required if trench is more than 1.5m deep)
Earth works will not weaken the earth to the extent that underground services will be damaged
Safeguards to prevent falling will be installed (eg. barricades)
Photographs will be taken of the existing conditions of paths, gardens etc. to ensure correct re-instatement of area upon completion of work
