Publishing in Nature Energy and Nature Climate Change

On the 4th of March 2020, Jenn Richler, Senior editor covering Behavioral and Social Sciences for Nature Climate Change and Nature Energy, covered the Nature Climate Change and Nature Energy portfolios in the behavioural and social sciences, publishing opportunities in these and other Nature journals, and the editorial process.

This seminar was a great opportunity for energy and social science graduate students and academics to hear from the senior editor of two leading journals in the field.

A/ Prof. Yolande Strengers Associate Co-Director, Consumers Theme, Monash Energy Institute, facilitated the event. She mentions "Jenn's visit to the Monash Energy Institute provided a fantastic opportunity to put a face to one of the most prestigious journals in the world. Her talk and the subsequent discussion were helpful in outlining the opportunities and processes for publishing in Nature Energy and Nature Climate Change. It's wonderful to see these journals, which have historically been positioned in the biological sciences, taking a strong interest in behavioural and social science research."

Jenn Richler joined Nature Research in 2016 as a Senior Editor serving Nature Climate Change and Nature Energy, where she handles a broad range of manuscripts from across the behavioural and social sciences, including psychology, sociology, behavioural economics, political science, and human geography.
