The Master of Advanced Robotics Engineering integrates fundamental principles of robotics and automation, including mechatronics and control systems, with advanced concepts such as the use of artificial intelligence, machine learning and computer vision.
You will learn to conceptualise, develop, and maintain sophisticated engineering systems that exhibit intelligence and automation. You’ll also explore human-robot interaction and interface design, and to appreciate ethical considerations and safety in robotics.
Practical hands-on experience will allow you to apply your theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios and foster creativity and problem-solving skills that will be critical to your success in this dynamic and multidisciplinary field.
You need to satisfy the following entrance requirements to be considered for entry to this course.
Minimum Entry Requirements
Qualifications
A four-year Australian Bachelor of Engineering degree (or equivalent) in a discipline relevant to the specialisation to be studied within the master's course, as approved by the Faculty, with at least high credit (65%) average.
*Telecommunications Engineering will not be offered in Semester 2, 2026.

Full fee
Fees are subject to change annually.
Fees are per 48 credit points which represents a standard full-time course load for a year. The fees for 2027 are:- Domestic students: A$51,840
- International students: A$59,740
