Opt in to Google Gemini
Monash staff and students (over the age of 18) can now opt in to gain access to the Google Gemini app.
If you’ve already opted in, just keep in mind it may take an hour or so to gain full access. Students under 18 will receive access to Gemini services soon.
The Google Gemini app is available for staff and students over the age of 18 to help enhance productivity and streamline collaboration with AI.
You can use it to assist with everyday tasks, such as:
- Drafting content: Create reports, slides, visuals and text.
- Summarising information: Get quick overviews of long documents, web pages and data.
- Brainstorming ideas: Generate lists, outlines, and structured suggestions for projects.
- Analysing data: Process and explain complex information and datasets (with appropriate caution).
You’ll also get access to NotebookLM, a standalone Google app.
