PyMOL

PyMOL is a comprehensive software package for rendering and animating 3D structures.

Download PyMOL

To download PyMOL for personal use:

  1. Download the PyMOL installer for your device.
  2. Download the licence file (pymol_license_inv61865.lic).

Install PyMOL

  1. Open the downloaded .exe file.
  2. Follow the installation wizard.
  3. Click Next through the prompts (use default settings).
  4. Click Install, then Finish.
  1. Open the .dmg file.
  2. Drag the PyMOL icon into the Applications folder.
  3. Open Applications and launch PyMOL.

Apply the license

  1. Launch PyMOL.
  2. When prompted for a license, select Browse or Load License File.
  3. Navigate to your provided license file (pymol_license_inv61865.lic).
  4. Select the file and click Open.
  5. Confirm and apply the license when prompted.
