Respondus is a lockdown browser used to prevent access to websites and systems during exams.

Apart from using LockDown Browser technology, it also allows students to record themselves with a webcam during the exam. The recordings are available to the instructor, along with the automated flagging of events and other data.

Respondus software is available for students and staff to install on a Monash device, or your own device for use at home or off-site.

Install Respondus

1. Go to Download Respondus.
2. Select the DOWNLOAD button.
3. Locate your download and double click it.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions.
5. Enter your device’s admin name and password.
