Simple Climate Model

The Monash University Interactive Simple Climate Model (MSCM) is a web-based interface that allows users to explore the physical simulation of the climate system with a real global climate model.

Despite its simplicity the model simulates the climate response to external forcings, such as the doubling of carbon dioxide concentrations, very realistically (similar to state-of-the-art climate models). The model and the interface are unique, and it has been used by students, researchers or lecturers across universities in the USA, France, Germany and in Australia.
