Climate Communicators
Climate Communicators
The Hub delivers accessible and engaging content on climate change and solutions for diverse audiences, many of whom aren’t normally exposed to factual climate and energy information.
In Australia, our continuing work with television weather presenters across major networks – including Sky News, Ten, Nine, Seven, and the ABC – has been reaching over 800,000 viewers per month on average since August 2023.
Our content delivery partnership with NewsCorp – managed through its Australian subsidiary, part of the global media company – has received 3.15 million views across 1125 publications in the 12 months from May 2024. And we work with commercial radio presenters and finance commentators to support them talking about climate with confidence.
In Malaysia and Indonesia, we work with journalists and communities to investigate and build public and policy understanding of climate change, including its impacts on health, housing, urban design and communication practices.

Tuning In
In partnership with Southern Cross Austereo, this project examines commercial radio as a platform for tuning in to the renewables rollout.
Climate Classrooms
In partnership with the ARC Centre of Excellence for Climate Extremes, Climate Classrooms provides free, accessible curriculum-linked lesson plans using the latest climate and energy data.
Rapid response climate and energy briefings
