Climate Classrooms

Climate Classrooms offers free, accessible curriculum-linked lesson plans and hands-on activities, incorporating the latest climate and energy data. Tailored to meet the needs of Australian high school teachers, the program empowers educators to deliver engaging and impactful lessons on critical environmental topics.

All resources have been co-designed by teachers and climate and energy experts to ensure students receive lessons that are scientifically accurate and tie the science into broader curriculum learning goals.

The Hub's Climate Classrooms team works in partnership with the ARC Centre of Excellence for 21st Century Weather on many of these lesson plans. We welcome comments and feedback on our lesson plans and can be contacted at mcccrh@monash.edu.

Climate Action Living Lab

Over the next 12 months, the Hub team will bring together secondary school students and teachers from the City of Casey, alongside climate and energy experts, to co-design educational materials. It is essential that the next generation is prepared to navigate climate challenges and contribute meaningfully to climate solutions. Our aim is to equip young people (and their educators) with the knowledge and skills required to do so.

Proudly supported by the City of Casey
