Open Day 2026
Celebrating 25 Years of Monash Prato!
On Thursday 17 September 2026, join us as we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Monash Prato with a special Open Day.
A wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate the journey that has brought us here, alongside students, partners, colleagues, community members, and everyone who has helped make our campus a place for connection, exchange of cultures and ideas, and international collaboration.
We have all sorts of fun activities planned.

| 5 PM-10 PM | AI Corner, Community Corner, Study at Monash Corner 📍 Ground Floor Drop by our AI Corner: an interactive space to explore artificial intelligence and its real-world applications in research and daily life. Discover more about our activities in Prato and how you can get involved, and explore the opportunities to study at Monash. Come and say hi anytime throughout the evening! |
| 5 PM | Secrets of Palazzo Vaj 📍 Palazzo Vaj Online registration required. Guided tour of the historic Palazzo Vaj, made possible through our collaboration with the FareArte Association . Language: Italian. 50min tour. |
| 5.30-7 PM | Speedy Conversation 📍 Salone Grollo Online registration required. Join us for a unique conversation exchange activity. Meet new people, practise your Italian and English, and win prizes! Sign-in at 5.30 PM and the event starts at 6 PM sharp (n.b. Late arrivals will be unable to take part.). Children under 18 are welcome to participate but must be accompanied by an adult. |
| 6 PM | Secrets of Palazzo Vaj 📍 Palazzo Vaj Online registration required. Guided tour of the historic Palazzo Vaj, made possible through our collaboration with the FareArte Association. Language: Italian. 50min tour. |
| 6 PM | Kids’ Corner 📍 Reading Room Online registration required. A dedicated space where children can take part in creative and artistic activities, read stories and practise speaking English (or Italian) with the ICamp team. Ages 3-5 | Maximum 25 children | 60min session One parent may stay with their child. |
| 7 PM | Kids’ Corner 📍 Reading Room Online registration required. A dedicated space where children can take part in creative and artistic activities, read stories and practise speaking English (or Italian) with the ICamp team. Ages 6-10 | Maximum 25 children | 60min session Online registration required. Parents cannot stay in the room. |

Registration:
Admission is free and open to the public. Online registration is required for Secrets of Palazzo Vaj (guided tours), Speedy Conversation, the Australian BBQ, and the Kids’ Corner, and must be completed via this online registration form. Places are limited.
A special legacy event.
A commemorative plaque celebrating the legacy of the Monash Faculty of Education’s International Professional Experience program with local schools will be unveiled at a presentation at Istituto Comprensivo Statale ‘G. B. Mazzoni’.
