Dr Natalie Doyle![]() Deputy Director, PhD, Monash University Natalie Doyle is senior lecturer in French and European Studies at Monash University. Dr Doyle has researched French social and political thought, classical and contemporary, with particular reference to interpretations of modernity. She is also interested in contemporary French society and politics, and their place in broader European trends. Dr Doyle is involved in the teaching of culture components for the French Studies program and in the supervision of Honours theses on French politics and society. More recently, she has been developing a new research project on the question of Islam in contemporary European political debates. She coordinates a number of undergraduate units for the European and EU studies major and supervises Honours and PhD theses, including projects on the EU. Email: Natalie.Doyle@monash.edu
