Dr Normann Witzleb

Associate Director, PhD, European University Viadrina Frankfurt

Normann Witzleb is a dually qualified German and Australian lawyer. Prior to joining Monash University in 2008, he worked at the University of Western Australia (2001-2007) and the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) (1996-2000), where he also obtained his PhD. His research focus is on comparative and European private law, in particular the area of privacy rights. Among his publications in this field are a monograph on remedies for the infringements of personality rights in the United Kingdom and Germany and Auf dem Wege zu einem Europäischen Zivilgesetzbuch (co-edited).
