After hours risk assessments
PAC after hours activities
Download PDF: SARAH ref#6986
Due to reduced staff numbers, after hours activities require some special considerations. Please take the time to read the full risk assessment. It details the activities that can be carried out and how to manage the risk associated with them. An overview of each risk assessment is below.
If you are performing any activities outside of those described in the risk assessment, you will need to complete your own risk assessment to cover these additional activities. We can help you through this process, please contact the PAC resources team for assistance: arts-pac-resources-team-l@monash.edu.
If you are unsure of an activity do not do it! Please ask a staff member or member of the Technical team for assistance and guidance.
General notes
- When working after hours, standard PAC risk assessments and procedures still apply:
Music and Performance risk assessments - Please report any damage to stage surfaces or equipment so they can be removed or repaired as required
Drama spaces:
- Students must complete an activity plan (risk assessment) and ensure it is approved by your supervisor/course coordinator prior to using drama spaces after hours
After hours emergencies and first aid:
- Seek first aid or emergency assistance from PAC resources staff (if on duty) or Security (if not PAC staff are available)
- A phone with security contact phone numbers and emergency information is located in the ground floor foyers
- A first aid kit and defibrillator is located in the main ground floor foyer if required
