Bayesian Nonparametrics Networking Workshop 2023
Monash Business School’s Department of Econometrics and Business Statistics invites you to attend the Bayesian Nonparametrics Networking Workshop on from 4 to 8 December 2023 at Monash University Caulfield Campus.
The workshop is co-sponsored by the Monash University Department of Econometrics and Business Statistics and the Nonparametric Section of the International Society for Bayesian Analysis (ISBA).
It's only the second in a new series of smaller workshops that aim to:
- Create an informal BNP event characterized by a flexible schedule and slots dedicated to early career researchers;
- Establish and strengthen local networks and broaden appeal; and
- Foster brainstorming and innovation.
The first BNP Networking Workshop was held in April 2022 in Nicosia, Cyprus.

5 June 2023
Due date for submission of contributed talks or posters.
Due date for travel support applications for junior researchers.
Late July 2023
Notification of acceptance (talks/posters) and junior travel support.
1 August 2023
Early bird registrations close.
Deadline for registration of presenters.

All submissions to be made via our website.
Registration
Fees (TBC)
There will be reduced rates for students and for ISBA members.
Young researchers who are presenting at the workshop may be eligible to apply for financial assistance.
In person registration for event includes:
- Admission to all workshop talks and poster sessions
- Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea (TBC according to the final workshop schedule)
- Welcome reception
Optional events (These events will incur an additional cost):
- Workshop dinner (TBC)
- Social excursion (TBC)
Cancellation of registration
All registration cancellations are subject to a administration fee (TBC). A refund of the balance will be given provided written notification is received prior to (date TBC).
After this date, refunds will only be made at the discretion of the organising committee. Substitutions will be accepted but should be notified in writing to the organisers.
