Institutional partnerships and research alliances
Internationally, Monash Business School shares various alliances and partnerships with other educational institutions.
Institutional partnerships
Monash Business School strategically focuses on establishing and developing partnerships with quality business schools and universities around the world. These partnerships include research collaborations, student exchange and staff exchange.
We are an active participant in the Warwick Monash Alliance with the University of Warwick, located in the United Kingdom. This alliance has produced 100+ joint research projects, 1,500+ co-authored publications, 1,000+ student mobility exchanges, an annual conference, and more.
We are also forging new alliances to bridge gaps between policy and academic research.
In May 2025, we established a pioneering partnership with the Australian Energy Market Commission, paving the way for closer collaboration between the national energy authority and researchers at the forefront of Australia’s energy transition.
Research alliances and collaborations
Besides our extensive research engagement with business, corporate and government links, researchers from the Monash Business School's departments and centres are engaged in numerous research collaborations with international universities and organisations.
Monash University and Fiji National University (FNU) in May 2022 signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish Pacific Action for Climate Transitions (PACT), a joint climate change research centre focusing on the business and economics implications of climate change. This is a growing area of academic research that is being sought by policymakers looking to fund mitigation and adaptation research leading to effective policy.
