2023 Monash Environmental Economics Workshop
Now in its seventh year, this workshop is hosted by the Energy, Environment and Resource Economics research group at the Department of Economics at Monash Business School, in collaboration with the Centre for Development Economics and Sustainability (CDES).
MEEW is a research-intensive workshop that welcomes papers on environmental and resource economics, with theoretical, experimental, and empirical papers equally valued.
In line with the workshop’s goals of building and strengthening our environmental economics community, MEEW 2023 will take place face-to-face in Melbourne, from 30 November to 1 December.
The keynote speaker will be Professor E Somanathan from the Economics and Planning Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi.
The workshop will also host a panel discussion on the Nature Repair Market with Graeme Samuel (Monash Business School), David Pannell (University of Western University), Catherine de Fontenay (Productivity Commission) and Jack Pascoe (Melbourne University).
