The Department of Accounting is delighted to extend tertiary teachers an invitation to our Accounting curriculum roundtable and master class, which will be held in partnership with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Professor Cameron Truong will present a Masterclass on AI in Accounting Education and Research, followed by a round table event that will chart the challenges brought by AI on accounting education in high schools, universities and in the workplace.

Panelists for the round table include Chris Bush (University High School); Dr Rifat Ara Shams, expert in Diversity and Inclusion in AI Data61, CSIRO; Kevin Nguyen (Whitefriars), and will be chaired by Associate Professor Lisa Powell.

Networking opportunities with drinks and nibbles will be held following the event for those attending in person.  There is also the option to join online via Zoom for those who can not attend in person.

Secondary and Tertiary Accounting teachers are invited to attend this event.
