Accounting Roundtable Series: Digital transformation and its impact on business processes
Hosted by Monash Business School’s Department of Accounting, the Accounting Roundtable Series brings together leaders from industry and academia to draw on their professional experience, offer insights, expose ambiguities and highlight challenges and tensions.
The first of three events in the Series, ‘Digital transformation and its impact on business processes’ will explore the impact of digitalisation on business processes, from an accounting point of view.
Digitalisation offers unprecedented opportunities and challenges to organisations. One of the most pressing challenges is leveraging technology to support a business strategy and adapt to changing conditions.
Accounting and finance teams are often at the heart of this transformation, installing new processes to account for new subscription model revenue, channels, digital product offerings, and more.
