Alumni Masterclass: Investing in crypto and digital assets
Join Professor Deep Kapur and Henrik Andersson, in a conversation about blockchain-based assets and its impact within business.
More than a decade after the invention of Bitcoin, digital assets and cryptocurrencies have both enthusiasts and detractors.
Many of you may have already started investing in these assets and may be wondering what to expect next from this highly volatile asset class. Many experts and industry leaders believe it will fundamentally change how we live and work in the future - for the better.
However, on the other side detractors argue various points including crypto returns are based on pure speculation, the threat of ransomware attacks as a result of this technology and even the negative impact crypto is having on the environment.
During this Masterclass you will hear from Professor Deep Kapur, Deputy Dean, External Engagement, and Director, Monash Centre for Financial Studies at Monash Business School will be the moderator delivering the Masterclass in a conversation format with his guest Henrik Andersson.
Mr Andersson is the Chief Investment Officer of Apollo Capital and an investor in blockchain-based assets. Henrik will also share his investment thesis on the risks and opportunities in this asset class.
