The Department of Banking and Finance at Monash Business School is delighted to announce details of our third Winter Finance Conference.
We invite submissions of papers to present in all areas of finance, and we have a preference for Australian-based presenters.
The conference will showcase and develop academic research in a workshop-style environment.
Our academic panel, comprising experts in all the major finance disciplines, will select up to eight high-quality papers for presentation.
On conference days, each paper will be discussed by a discussant, and will be followed by an in-depth discussion with the audience, who will be expected to have read all papers in advance.
Our objective is to accept papers that can substantially improve and will benefit from this open audience discussion.
For presenters of accepted papers, we will provide airfare reimbursement of up to $300, plus one night’s accommodation. Conference drinks and dinner after the academic program will also be provided.
Submission decisions will be sent via email in mid-June.
