First hosted in 1989, the ATTA conference now in its’ 30th edition, provides an environment for tax academics and industry and government professionals to share research, develop teaching practice and promote network opportunities to advance the discipline.

The Australian Tax Teachers’ Association (ATTA) is a non-profit organisation, established in 1987, with the goal of improving the standard of tax teaching in educational institutions across Australasia.

Keynote speakers

One of the highlights of the conference will be a keynote speech by The Honourable Justice Tony Pagone (Federal Court of Australia), on Day Two of ATTA 2018. Other keynote speakers include, Andrew Mills (Australian Taxation Office), Paul Drum (CPA Australia) and Ali Noroozi (Australian Government).

Wednesday January 17 to Friday January 19: These three days will be devoted to the presentations of researchers on all topics in the broader theme of tax teaching in educational institutions across Australasia.
