The Governance and Regulation Research Network (GARNET) at the Centre for Global Business, Monash Business School, is inviting current and recently completed PhD students to take part in a Virtual Colloquium on Regulatory Governance.

Call for participants

This symposium is open to current PhD students and recently completed PhD students (within 18 months of completion). Participants may be located anywhere in the world, but you should note that the synchronous aspects of the program will take place in Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT).

The themes of submitted papers may relate to (but are not necessarily limited to) the following:

  • Construction of regulatory standards
  • Public enforcement and effectiveness of public regulators
  • Private enforcement mechanisms and actors
  • Non-state actors, private and informal regulation
  • Regulatory impact and compliance
  • Multi-level regulatory governance systems
  • Digitisation, technology and regulation
  • Regulatory theory
