Wombat 2025: Designing data-driven discoveries
Monash Business School’s Monash Business Analytics Team is pleased to invite you to our event spanning up-skilling tutorials and a seminar-style workshop.
We especially encourage analytics professionals who lead teams of analysts or developers of new open source tools to attend.
This year’s theme is designing data-driven discoveries, with our event to feature talks on statistical software, research collaboration, and impactful data analysis.
Workshop keynote speaker
Nicola Rennie, Office for National Statistics, United Kingdom
Ms Rennie is a data visualisation specialist with a background in statistics and data science, who is interested in understanding how to effectively communicate quantitative information in an accessible way.
Nicola advocates for using open source tools, and has experience in D3, Svelte, R, and Python. She co-authored the Royal Statistical Society’s Best Practices for Data Visualisation guidance and is a member of the Editorial Board of Significance magazine, particularly focused on data visualisation.
