His presentation will include checklists, tables, flowcharts, how-to’s, dos-and-don’ts and other important guidelines so participants can understand how to effectively follow methodological best practices, and apply this to their own research and the evaluation of research by others.

Professor Herman Aguinis, Avram Tucker Distinguished Scholar, Professor of Management at The George Washington University School of Business
Prof Aguinis' work focuses on the global acquisition and deployment of talent in organisations and organisational research methods (i.e., behavioural science and data science).
He has written about 225 refereed journal articles and published 13 books. Every year since 2018, Web of Science Highly Cited Researchers Reports has ranked him among the world’s 100 most impactful researchers in Economics and Business, and his research has received about 65,000 Google Scholar citations (h-index = 108).
Prof Aguinis served as president of the Academy of Management (AOM) and was inducted into the PhD Project Hall of Fame. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Management and has received numerous career awards, including the Losey Award by the Society for Human Resource Management Foundation for lifetime achievement in human resource research; the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology Scientific Contributions Award for lifetime contributions; Distinguished Career Awards for lifetime scholarly contributions from two different Academy of Management Divisions (i.e., (a) Research Methods, and (b) Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion); and the AOM Practice Theme Committee Scholar Practice Impact Award recognising outstanding impact on policymaking and managerial and organisational practices.
