WOMBAT 2026
The annual WOMBAT workshop, organised by the Monash Business Analytics Team, brings together analysts, researchers, practitioners and decision-makers from academia, industry and government. It is a forum to learn, share ideas and explore the latest open-source tools for business analytics and data science.
This year’s theme is TIME: Timely Insights, Models, and Exploration. Our program will feature talks on statistical software, time series analysis and forecasting, and data analysis in the era of AI and LLMs. Attendees will gain practical insights into emerging tools and techniques, while also connecting with a community of people working at the forefront of analytics.
Whether you are an analytics professional, a team leader looking to support data-driven decision-making, or a developer building new data analysis tools, WOMBAT offers valuable perspectives, inspiration and networking opportunities.
