A popular option for students is the Master of Business, which has 12 specialisations and 1, 1.5 and 2-year study options depending on your prior study and work experience.

The GEMBA program is a dynamic community in which the more effort you invest, the greater your rewards. Depending on how many units are taken, on average you should anticipate dedicating a minimum of 10 hours per week to personal study for one unit and class attendance. Beyond structured learning, the program offers valuable networking opportunities, support services, and flexible scheduling to help you balance work, life, and academic commitments.
Classes are taught face-to-face through a mix of evening and weekend mode classes. Before enrolling in each unit, you will be able to access the timetable.
The Global Executive MBA takes 18 months to complete with a full time study load.
The Global Executive MBA and Master of Business takes two years to complete with a full time study load.
Both of these courses have part time study options. The part time option allows you to complete the course at your pace with a reduced study load. Part time study completion times vary.
Students may choose from part time or full time options, and students will attend scheduled teaching activities primarily at Monash University’s Caulfield campus. Students holding a study visa will need to meet the requirements of their visa, which may require a full time study pattern.
Once you've started your course, and your first census date has passed, you may be able to apply for study leave. You can apply to take a break of up to 12 months during your course. This can be taken over consecutive teaching periods, or at different times.
If you're studying the GEMBA, a specific intermission application is required and, once completed, is submitted to GEMBA@monash.edu
