Applying for the Monash MBA
The Monash MBA program seeks to attract a high-quality and diverse cohort and invites applications from high-performing managers with a minimum of three years' experience from a wide range of educational, sectoral, and cultural backgrounds.
- An Australian bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification
- A minimum of three years' work experience, with minimum one year of managerial experience.
- High level of English language proficiency.
Applications are submitted through the online portal with full supporting documentation.
Applicants are required to submit the following:
- Online application form
- Detailed curriculum vitae
- Statement of purpose
- Certified copies of academic transcripts
- Evidence of citizenship or residency
- Proof of English language ability if applicable
- Contact details for two professional referees
- GMAT/GRE scores are not required
Applicants are required to submit a short Statement of Purpose that will address the following questions:
- How The Monash MBA will impact on your professional career plans
- How you will draw on your business experience to contribute to the cohort’s peer learning
Please ensure that your application contains all the supporting documentation outlined above. Incomplete applications cannot be considered.
The Monash MBA is a competitive entry program. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an informal interview with the MBA Director.

We have one intake per year commencing in February. We recommend applying early for the best chance of admission.
Fees include tuition, materials, international study fees and accommodation on the international business module; international travel costs for MBA5413 are not included.

The Australian Government administers the Higher Education Loan Programme (HELP) which can assist Australian citizens with paying the cost of your fees. To find out more about this program, including eligibility criteria, please visit the FEE-HELP website.
Disclaimer: The tuition fee quoted is the approximate fee for the full program. Monash reserves the right to adjust annual tuition fees. However, any adjustment factor for continuing students will not exceed 6% per annum. Any adjustment will be applied on the 1st of January each year for teaching periods with a census date thereafter.

Monash MBA alumni are generously supporting candidates for the 2023 program.
Monash University Alumni Fee Discount
A fee discount of 10% of the Monash MBA course fee is available for up to six alumni of any Monash University faculty enrolling in The Monash MBA in 2023.
Jane McAloon scholarship
The Jane McAloon scholarship supports significant learning and development opportunities for outstanding MBA candidates who wish to pursue an executive education, who may otherwise be hindered by cost.
