Dr Ka-leung Lam

Research Fellow

Ka-leung Lam joined the Centre as a Research Fellow in August 2024 after he obtained his PhD in economics from Princeton University.

He is an applied economist with broad interests spanning finance, macroeconomics and labour economics. His recent research has been focused on empirical banking, exploring how banks thrive and fail, their responses to regulations and policies, and their impacts on the well-being of individuals, households and firms.
