Bronwyn Croxson

Adjunct Professor

Bronwyn Croxson is visiting the Centre for Health Economics at Monash University, as an Adjunct Professor of Practice.

Bronwyn has been a public servant since moving back to New Zealand 20 years ago. She has held positions in The New Zealand Treasury, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Health. She is currently the New Zealand Ministry of Health’s Chief Economist, where she leads a small team focused on building economics capability, and using economic analysis, insights and evidence to support advice.

Before returning to New Zealand Bronwyn worked as an academic in the UK. She continues to build and treasure academic connections, as essential to supporting evidence-based decision-making
