Kim Syling
Assistant Lecturer
Kim Syling is an Assistant Lecturer (Education-Focused) at Monash Business School, where she teaches entrepreneurship across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Her teaching focuses on equipping students with entrepreneurial mindsets and capabilities through applied, practice-based learning.
Kim also serves as Teaching Associate Coordinator and Community Lead for the Entrepreneurship Portfolio. In this capacity, she oversees Teaching Associate development and governance, and supports the Entrepreneurship Student Representative Committee. She leads initiatives that strengthen academic–industry–student engagement through structured programs, digital platforms, and co-curricular activities.
Kim holds a Master of Global Business from Monash University and brings over a decade of professional experience in supply chain and procurement through her family’s power transmission business.
Outside her academic roles, Kim enjoys running, creative pursuits like pottery, and connecting with local and global communities. These interests inform her teaching approach, which values empathy, curiosity, and meaningful connection.
