Megan Flamer is a transformational learning designer, facilitator and keynote speaker, specialising in mindfulness, resilience, and compassionate leadership.
With over 15 years of global experience in organisational development and education design, she transforms rigorous research into practical strategies that enhance leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and overall business performance.
As well as her work with Monash Business School, Megan is the founder of the learning consultancy, Excited Adults, an Adjunct Senior Industry Fellow with RMIT’s Centre for Future Skills and Workforce Transformation, and a PhD candidate with Monash University’s WonderLab, examining how organisations create cultures of resilience, insight, and human flourishing.
Megan’s background includes consulting with top-tier companies in Silicon Valley, including Google, Facebook, and Airbnb, empowering teams and organisations to navigate high-pressure environments with confidence and clarity. Megan has also worked with trauma-adjacent emergency workers in healthcare and prison systems in the US and UK, as well as high performing arts and elite sports teams around the world.
She was the founding Director of Innovation at the Monash Centre for Consciousness and Contemplative Studies, Head of Monash’s Startup Programs, and has led innovation and entrepreneurship programs across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.
A long-time ABC journalist and emergency broadcaster, Megan is also a regular co-host of the Radio National program “The Economy, Stupid” and is co-creator and facilitator of the ABC’s leadership well-being program, Thriving.
