Net Zero Precincts Stage 3: Activating
Our newly released Stage 3 report unveils how the Net Zero Precincts Living Lab is accelerating the journey to net zero transitions through experimentation and collaborative governance.
Based at Monash Clayton Campus and the surrounding Monash Precinct, this dynamic initiative has grown to encompass 10 diverse experiments tackling energy, mobility, buildings, governance, circular economy and data challenges. More than just individual projects, these experiments form a coordinated portfolio that bridges the gap between theory and implementation.
Our structured engagement cycles and reflexive monitoring, evaluation and learning framework has created an enabling environment for university researchers, industry partners, government stakeholders, and community members to collaborate on interventions like on-site demonstrations, prototypes, visualisations, and pilots. The report details how our Living Lab builds capability for place-based transition governance while generating practical solutions for complex sustainability challenges.
Discover how our Living Lab is pioneering new experimental approaches to net zero transitions and reveals leverage points for collaborative action that others can follow.
