Enable Wi-Fi Calling
Wi-Fi Calling uses data instead of using the cellular network. It’s only supported on some mobile phone and carrier combinations. Wi-Fi Calling is enabled on the Monash eduroam network and, if supported by your smartphone, you can enable it on your device.
- Open Settings on your device.
- Search for Wi-Fi Calling.
- Enable the feature.
- Settings will vary by device, and you may need to consult your carrier's support documentation for more advice. To learn more about Wi-Fi Calling, read this article from Telstra.
- Open Settings on your device.
- Select Mobile, then select Wi-Fi Calling.
- Enable the feature by using the toggle.
- To learn more go to Apple's support site.
Mobile phones provided by Monash support Wi-Fi Calling. Telstra has a list of compatible devices. To find out if your personal device supports Wi-Fi Calling, contact your mobile service provider.
