A4 colour single-sided | 0.340 |

Adding credit to your M-Pass
To pay for printing, scanning and copying, use your student M-Pass. Here’s how you, or others, can add credit to your M-Pass.
Help and support
Document margins and layout
Before you print a document:
- reduce the margins as much as possible
- make sure that the page size and orientation are correct
- check how it will print with Quick Preview.
PowerPoint layout
When you print from PowerPoint:
- for layout, choose Hand-outs (not Slides)
- fit up to nine slides on a page, saving paper and money.
Scan to email on a Ricoh printer
Tap your M-Pass on the reader to log in and press Scan on the Ricoh Printer.
- Edit the Subject and Filename field accordingly, tap Start scanning.
- Your scan will now appear in your email inbox.
- If you receive a failed notification, scan your documents at a lower resolution. There is a 20mb file size limit for sending scanned documents by email.
If your job doesn’t print:
- make sure that the printer has enough paper and tone or hasn’t stalled due to a fault like a paper jam (you may need to get help from a lab technician)
- ensure your document is not set to US_LETTER format as Monash printers can print only in A3 or A4 size
- wait an extra few minutes if you’re printing a large file, PDF or multiple slides per page – sometimes the printer will take longer to process these files
- delete your job from the print queue and try again.
If you’ve tried all of the above, but are still having issues, please request support below or report a fault.
