2025 Election of Student Members to Academic Board

Academic Board is the pre-eminent body responsible for setting and upholding some of the most important standards in education and research at Monash. Academic Board considers and approves academic policies, procedures and practices of Monash and student members are a vital part of this, contributing their broad experience and perspectives to Academic Board. The Academic Board consists of members in three categories - ex officio members, appointed members (Heads of Academic Units) and elected members (academic staff and students).

The 2025 election process for elected student members of Academic Board has now concluded.

Undergraduate Student Member Elected Position

Following the close of voting for the undergraduate student member to Academic Board elected position, I declared the following candidate elected with a majority of votes:

  • Remus Brasier

Higher Degree by Research Student Member Position

Following the close of voting for the higher degree by research student member to Academic Board elected position, I declared the following candidate elected with a majority of votes:

  • Isabel Dunn

The term of office for these positions is two years commencing 1 January 2026 and ending 31 December 2027.
