The Faculty of Law is committed to the Monash Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Framework (2019–2030) and, through our teaching, research and engagement, is continuing to work toward significant improvement in Indigenous engagement, participation and success in the Faculty of Law. We will continue to recruit, support, retain and graduate Indigenous students in all of our degrees and at all levels. The Faculty strives to create an inclusive, engaged, culturally competent and culturally safe environment to enhance the participation and success of Indigenous students and staff. The Faculty of Law works in close collaboration with the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous) and the William Cooper Institute in pursuing our goals.

National Reconciliation Week

National Reconciliation Week Campaign runs every year from 27 May to 3 June and is an important time for all non-Indigenous Australians within the Monash Community to learn more about the rich Cultures of First Nations Peoples and acknowledge the true histories of Australia.
