The Pitch 2024

The Pitch 2024 is here!

Supporting impactful change through scalable innovation in teaching and learning

The Monash Education Academy is thrilled to reopen The Pitch in 2024, a funding scheme to support cross-faculty educational innovations at Monash. “Innovation” here refers to the development of new ideas or creations, or novel extensions to existing creations. Innovations can include development of teaching approaches, curriculum designs, technological integrations, forms of assessment of evaluation, student support or course administration.

In line with the 2022 -2025 Education Plan, this funding scheme provides an annual opportunity for Monash educators to pitch ideas for experimental and scaled up pedagogical innovations. Successful projects are then resourced and supported for institution-wide application.

The scheme is designed to facilitate meaningful and ground-breaking forms of collaboration and design within and across Faculties. The outcomes should be designed to contribute something new to educational practice across the University.
