The Monash Institute of Medical Engineering (MIME) together with The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering are pleased to bring you Dr Rohan Hoare, an international presenter, Monash alumni, and successful medical technology entrepreneur and business/technology leader. Dr Hoare is the CEO of Epiminder, a development stage wearable epilepsy monitoring device company based in Dallas, Texas. Dr Hoare holds a PhD in Physics from Harvard University where he was a Fulbright Scholar, after completing a BSc (Hons) at Monash. Prior to leading Epiminder, he was previously President of Neuromodulation at St Jude Medical Centre in the USA, CEO of EndoStim, President of Neuromodulation at LivaNova and CEO of Cyberonics. Highlighting his credentials in business and technology strategy, during his early career, Dr Hoare was a consultant with McKinsey & Co, one of the world’s foremost and prestigious management consulting firms.
