Women in STEMM Student Leader Awards 2025
The Monash Institute of Medical Engineering (MIME) Women in STEMM Student Leader Awards aim to recognise, celebrate and support women students at Monash University who are contributing to innovation in healthcare and medical technologies.
These awards are part of a broader MIME strategy to support and celebrate women in healthcare innovation.
Four awards were awarded with successful students receiving $1,000 to support their studies and exclusive invitations to participate in a series of MIME networking opportunities throughout 2026.

Anais Ducray, PhD candidate, Faculty of Engineering
Research focus: Developing an accessible diagnostic tool for early detection of diseases
Myfanwy Graham, Postgraduate – Monash Addiction Research Centre, Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences
Research focus: Pharmacovigilance and public health policy related to medicinal cannabis and psychedelics
Viktoriia Ignateva, Master of Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Information Technology
Research focus: Developing health technology solutions and AI applications for social impact
Izabella Mancewicz, Bachelor of Medicine and Doctor of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences
Research focus: Bridging clinical practice and AI to build ethical, clinician-led healthcare innovation
