Women in STEMM
Women in STEMM
The Monash Institute of Medical Engineering (MIME) is committed to creating more opportunities for women across healthcare and medical technology innovation. Diversity is essential as we lead the discovery, creation and translation of technologies that will improve human health.
It is important to foster the workforce pipeline at all stages. MIME works to celebrate and amplify the work of all women at Monash University, from students to senior leaders, working in healthcare innovation.
Despite promising new data, gender inequality in the workforce is still very real, and nowhere is it more urgent than in STEMM. MIME will work to improve the global gender disparity we currently see in STEMM disciplines.”Professor Helena Teede AM, MIME, Co-Director
