Dr Heli Askola

Heli Askola is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Monash University. Before joining Monash in 2008 she worked at Cardiff Law School in the UK. Her main areas of research interest are EU Justice and Home Affairs, criminal justice, migration law and policy, human rights law and feminist legal theory. She has  consulted for the European Commission and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and is the author of Legal Responses to Trafficking in Women for Sexual Exploitation in the European Union (Oxford, 2007) as well as several articles on EU law and human rights.
