Monash University recognises diversity as one of its greatest assets. Where You Belong is a strategic planning document that will position our accommodation in diversity and inclusion best practices and ensure that our staff and residents make a positive impact during their time with us and in their future endeavours.

The strength of a team

  • Gender representation in residential teams
  • Providing 24/7 security support and referring residents to the Safer Community Unit when necessary
  • Supporting residents to engage with the appropriate services such as Monash Connect, Career Connect, University Health Services and Disability Support Services
  • Empowering our resident-led committee and portfolios to coordinate inclusive social events that are accessible and enjoyable for all residents
  • Ensuring our communities are diverse in terms of demographics and experiences.
