2016 is the 30th anniversary of the publication of Images of Japanese Society: A Study in the Structure of Social Reality, a highly influential work in the field of contemporary Japanese Studies. We welcome the book’s authors to discuss the book’s impact and revisit some of its frameworks and arguments thirty years on.
