Manga Library
The JSC Manga Library was established in November 2002 as part of Monash University’s Japanese Studies Centre and is the first venue of its kind in Australia to provide both opportunities of education and entertainment through the incorporation of Japanese popular culture, making Japanese manga available to students and non-students alike. This innovative space continues to provide a unique environment in which Japanese popular culture can be easily accessed. The library is currently run by local and international students at Monash.
The library offers an extensive collection of over 7000 Japanese manga and other related texts such as magazines and novels. The library provides an exclusive environment and opportunity to access popular Japanese culture from the past and present.
