Why we're different - our Triple Accreditation
Monash Business School is very proud to have been awarded ‘Triple Accreditation’ by three global accrediting bodies: the Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB); EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS); and the Association of MBAs (AMBA).
Monash Business School is one of only 97 business schools in the world - and the only institution within Victoria - to have achieved this accreditation.
Why is Triple Accreditation important?
Triple Accreditation means that your business degree will be recognised wherever you want to work in the world.
That’s because your business education has been measured against the standards of the world’s best schools. And your teachers have also met the highest professional standards.
Being part of the accreditation community opens doors to new international partnerships and job opportunities with the best business schools in the world.
For instance, AACSB accreditation provides opportunities for our PhD graduates to gain employment at top US schools, which often require employees to hold a doctorate from an AACSB-accredited school.
These internationally recognised measures of quality allow Monash Business School to demonstrate our excellence to the world - and ensure we maintain a constant focus on continuous improvement and best practice.
The Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business (AACSB) accreditation is known worldwide as the longest standing, most recognised form of specialised/professional accreditation an institution and its business programs can earn.
EQUIS (EFMD Quality Improvement System), the quality assurance arm of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), aims to raise the standard of management education worldwide by assessing institutions as a whole including activities such as research, e-learning, executive education and community outreach. Business schools must be devoted to management education in order to achieve accreditation.
AMBA (Association of MBAs) accreditation is the global standard for all MBA, DBA and Master's degrees, currently accrediting programs from the top 1% of business schools in more than 70 countries. The accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement in postgraduate business education and is earned only by the best programs.
