The Clear Leadership program is, without a doubt, the best leadership program I have ever experienced or worked with. Clear Leadership will teach you powerful communication skills that allow you to:

  • Ensure the people you lead feel fully engaged in real partnership with you, enhancing all aspects of team and organisational performance.
  • Create an inclusive environment where everyone can learn from the team’s collective experience.
  • Turn conflicts into positive learning experiences.

You’ll learn how to cut through the interpersonal ‘mush’ that causes partnerships to fail and gain a new, unique perspective on the personal choices leaders need to make to sustain true collaboration at work.

The course focuses on the four key areas of:

  • The aware self: Raising your awareness, on both a cognitive and an emotional level, of your sense-making process, and of the variety of different experiences possible in any situation.

  • The descriptive self: Teaching you how to make your experience and sense-making clear to others in a non-threatening and relationship-enhancing way.

  • The appreciative and the curious self: Giving you the skills to encourage others to be descriptive, to fully understand their experience, and avoid the kinds of reactions that stop people from telling you their truth.

  • Conflict and earning in partnerships: Cementing your ability to lead organisational learning conversations and showing you how to use these skills to reduce unproductive conflict in your partnerships.

How you'll learn

Over four days, you’ll participate in a series of interactive and experiential sessions, working with peers on issues pertinent to your leadership challenges. Experience success in real interpersonal encounters (not role plays), making it possible to take these skills back to your role. Each session builds on the next, culminating in the development of skills to lead conversations that increase effectiveness and collaboration in the workplace.
