Classroom learning space Zoom instructions
Use the room PC to join a Zoom call
- On the button panel, select Room PC (Zoom).
- Open the Zoom app on the Room PC.
- Sign in with your Monash account.
- Enter Meeting ID and Passcode.
- Ensure you select the correct audio and video settings in Zoom – these may vary depending on the room:
- MICROPHONE: Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (Scarlett Solo USB)
- SPEAKER: Crestron (HD Audio Driver for Display Audio)
- CAMERA: USB Capture HDMI.
- To be heard, the presenter needs to physically switch on the in-room microphones.
Help and support
Use your laptop to join a Zoom call
- On the button panel, select Laptop (Zoom).
- Connect the USB-C cable to your laptop.
For legacy systems with an HDMI cable, you need to connect both USB-A and HDMI cables to your laptop. - Join the Zoom meeting from the Zoom app on your laptop.
- Ensure you select the correct audio and video settings in Zoom:
- MICROPHONE: Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (Scarlett Solo USB)
- SPEAKER: Crestron (HD Audio Driver for Display AudioIntel(R) Display Audio)
- CAMERA: USB Capture MDMI Logi Rally Camera.
- To be heard, the presenter needs to physically switch on the in-room microphones.
